Love this article; and not just because I’m a fellow hypocrite!

I generally feel that ‘hypocrite’ is an odd insult to throw at politicians, environmentalists, celebrities, or thought leaders. Everybody falls short somewhere, and we shouldn’t let that constrain the messaging they use. You should speak to, and advocate for, the behaviour or end state that you believe in. As you say, Al Gore can still passionately believe and fight for a low-carbon future; even if he sometimes decides he just can’t be fucked with car-pooling!

Although, I certainly do still believe that reducing flying dramatically is an important step.
